Van Nuys Medical Science Atrium
If you have questions regarding mailboxes, lockers, microscopes or use of facilities — including room scheduling, ID card access, outage reporting, or posting of flyers — you have come to the right place.

Student Mailboxes
As a medical student, you will be assigned a mailbox. Graduate students in some programs also are also assigned mailboxes. You will be issued a key to your mailbox. There is a $25 replacement fee for lost keys.
Lockers
Lockers in Medical Science are assigned to first and second year Indianapolis students. (Students must provide their own padlocks.)
Building Access / ID Cards
Students, faculty, and staff have 24/7 access to both the VanNuys Medical Science Building and the Daly Center. During off-hours, you may use your ID for entry to the Medical Science Building. Contact Leo if your card is not working properly or for activation of a replacement card when one is lost.
Microscopes
- Indianapolis: All microscopes in the Medical Science first floor labs for Pathology, Histology, and Nursing Microbiology are serviced and maintained by Leo Thompson. Please notify him of any problems.
- Regional campuses: All microscopes are serviced and maintained by Leo Thompson. Please notify Leo of any problems.
Facilities
Leo coordinates VanNuys Medical Science Building and Daly Center facilities:
- All classrooms and auditoriums in VanNuys Medical Science
- All classrooms and study rooms in the Daly Center
- The auditoriums in Emerson and Fesler
- One conference room in the Rotary Building
- One conference room and one classroom in HITS
Reporting Problems and Outages
Please notify Leo Thompson of outages and other facilities-related problems. If Leo is unavailable, contact Millie Eaton at 317-274-1965. For problems requiring immediate attention after 3 p.m. on weekdays or anytime on weekends, call the Campus Facilities Services trouble line at 317-278-1900.
