There's no way around it. Quality medical education is expensive.
It costs considerably more to provide a quality medical education than what the student actually pays in tuition and fees. Additional funding comes from state of Indiana subsidies, supportive organizations, generous friends and alumni.
The Medical Student Affairs-Student Financial Services (MSA-SFS) Office assists medical students whose combined resources are not sufficient to meet the total cost of their medical education.
MSA-SFS manages and administers the Indiana University School of Medicine Scholarship and Loan Programs, acts as liaison between the School of Medicine and the IUPUI Financial Aid and IUPUI Bursar Offices, and provides medical students with information about IUSM-based and non-IUSM-based opportunities.
The MSA-Student Financial Services Office is located in the Medical Sciences Building, Room 119.
For individual contact information, please see the MSA staff page.
